Huawei's Dual-OS Android & Windows Phone May Launch Soon

Windows Phone is getting popular day by day because of its looks and UI, but still Android is leader in mobile operating system. Windows Phone compare to Android is little bit difficult in UI but beats in looks because of its new tile UI. There are people who like to use Windows Phone but find it difficult to operate this platform.

Recently, Chinese mobile phone maker Huawei confirmed that a dual-OS smartphone will be available in the US in Q2 2014, running Android and Windows Phone operating systems. This Smartphone will let users swap between Android and Windows Phone operating systems.

Dual-OS Android & Windows Phone with Huawei

Huawei's chief marketing officer, Shao Yang said in an interview with TrustedReviews, "We are still committed to making Windows Phone devices. Compared with Android, the priority of Windows Phone is much lower but is still one of our choices of OS. We are definitely using a multi OS strategy," he said.

People do not find an easy decision to buy the phone Windows Phone only. If they have the Android and Windows together, you can change it as you wish and it is much easier for people to choose Windows Phone,” he added.

Shao Yang said I hope that the smartphones that packed dual-boot capabilities might attract more consumers both to Huawei’s products and to the Windows Phone operating system but didn't give any additional details about the device.

Shao Yang also suggested that dual-OS devices might be a good choice for users, and that's what we've planned to release such a device in the United States in the second quarter of the year.

Also, Indian handset company Karbonn, which signed an agreement with Microsoft earlier this year, as unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, will also release such a smartphone.
